Hi everyone! It’s August, can you believe it? July went by in a flash.

I’m basically all moved in and have now acquired balcony furniture! I haven’t decorated it yet since I’ve been in my hometown for the past two weeks but I’m excited to start doing so once I’m back from vacation. Just 10 days until I’m on my way to a Greek island! I’m very excited.

This entire year has felt….exhausting to me. Not only because of all the shit happening globally (which always plays a big part) but on a personal level, too. I feel like a wringed out dish rag. I NEED to go chill on an island with nothing but the sound of cicadas in my ears.

Anyways. I’ve actually been thinking of how I want my substack to be and I don’t think this type of post is cutting it for me anymore. I’ve been using substack almost like a diary (which, nothing wrong with that) but I think I want to do something…else.

It’s fine. I’ll figure it out.

I actually haven’t finished The Witcher: The Tower of the Swallow, yet. I don’t know why but I haven’t been in the mood for fantasy. Instead, I’ve been raiding my mother’s book collection. I’ve already ready Krishnamurti’s Journal and I’m almost done with his The Beginnings of Learning. I did not read Edgar Allan Poe’s The golden beetle. It’ll happen when it’ll happen at this point.
